Archive for February, 2007

You would think that since I make foot scrubs I would have extremely smooth feet. Well not so much. I am a perpetual procrastinator. I let me feet go so long that no salt scrub in the world will do them justice. I have tried almost every pumice stone on the market. Let me just tell you about the little beauty that is now my Favorite tool for proper exfoliation. My friend Melanie makes these darling little foot scrubbies. I had one sitting on the shelf for a few months and thought why not give it a try. OMG it is amazing. It fits nicely in the palm of your hand for ease of use.

You really need to check these out. You can find them on her site Earthenwood Studios I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

I hope many of you know that February is American Heart Month. For women this is an issue of utmost importance as 1 in 3 women will develop Heart Disease. A few of places for great resources are The American Heart Association, GO RED for Women, and a great site that is holding National Women’s Day Heart Health Fairs in 16 locations across the United States on the 16 of February. I just might have to make a Girls Day out and attend the one in Chicago.

Another link I came across that caught my interest was The Forgotten Fat which is packed full of great info regarding Tryglycerides, The Fogotten Fat. They even have some super yummy recipes. And they are healthy too.

So now is the time to get screened, eat well, exercise and Love your Heart.

What better way to launch my blog than my Find the Hearts Contest.

Ok here is how it works:
  1. Find all 5 heart images scattered throughout the site.
  2. Send me an email letting me know where you found them.
  3. I will send you a coupon for $5 off your next order over $15.

Make sure you check the entire site the images can be anywhere.

I will also be adding a refer a friend and frequent buyers program. So keep posted for the details.

I would also like to remind everyone that February is GO RED month. Remember to wear your Red for Women’s Heart Disease Awareness.
